Embarking on an Internet marketing campaign doesn’t have to be difficult, tricky, or complicated. Here are a few simple ways (twenty in fact) that you can easily implement to get tons of traffic to your site right now!

1) Write articles: believe it or not this is an incredible tool for driving traffic. Well-written, relevant articles can net quite a bit of activity to your web site. Don’t forget to add your URL in your byline. Articles should be 500 to 2,000 words in length. You can send articles to sites like: Article City, GoArticles, Submit Your Articles and Ezine Articles.

2) Social bookmark *everything* - and I do mean everything - you can bookmark each page of your site and each blog entry you post. While this might seem tedious, it’s worth it. You’ll see a strong increase in traffic if you social bookmark each page on your site and each of your blog entries.

3) List yourself in the best directories – you’ll have to pay for this but since most people don’t do this (since everyone’s looking for a freebie) you could really enhance your traffic by getting a listing: dir dot yahoo dot com, business dot org, botw dot org.

4) Get yourself listed at: DMOZ dot org – it’s not easy to get listed there, but worth the effort.

5) Review: if you can review hot new products or books within your market, head on over to Amazon and start positioning yourself as an expert. In order to do this effectively you’ll want to create an Amazon profile and make sure and sign each review with a reference to your URL (your web site). You can also go to Epinions and Revoo to review products as well.

6) Offer a freebie on Craig’s List: you’ll be amazed at how much traffic you get from a single Craig’s List ad. The key here is to send people to a page on your site and make sure they have to sign up for something (like your email newsletter) before they can grab their freebie. That way you’re not just getting traffic, you’re also building your list.

7) Create a “recommended by” list on your Delicious page – you can do this by logging on and creating an account and there and then tagging articles, blogs and other content you think is important to your readership. Then offer this page as a resource site. You can add a link to this page in your email signature line or on your web site.

8) And speaking of your email signature line… do you have one? If you don’t, create one. Believe it or not, people do follow these links. You’ll be amazed how many folks read email signature lines. I have one and change it several times a year, depending on what we’re doing or promoting or what books I have coming out.

9) Lend a helping hand: you can be an answer person at Yahoo Answers – you don’t have to spend hours on there, but maybe a few minutes a week. Make sure and include a link back to your site following your answers.

10) Set up a social networking site using Facebook, LinkedIn, or Squidoo. It’s free and easy to do, just don’t forget the all-important link back to your site!

11) Make sure your blog has an RSS feed so if you capture a reader you don’t lose them if they forget to bookmark your site or blog.

12) Join relevant groups at Yahoo groups. You’ll find everything from groups on growing your small business, writing books, finding your passion, even underwater basket weaving. I dare you to find one that isn’t right for what you’re promoting. When you do find the right group, join and participate as you can!

13) Podcasting is another great way to drive traffic. Start a podcast by going to Audio Acrobat. There are other programs you can use, but I love Audio Acrobat. You can record the podcast over the phone quickly and easily and then hit the “send” button on your computer once it’s recorded and the system will syndicate it to 27 podcast directories including iTunes. It’s a great way to let people know about you and your web site!

14) Start a blog and then once you do, start commenting on other people’s blogs, linking to them from your site or adding them to your blogroll.

15) Inbound links: don’t squander your time (or a perfectly good link) on smaller low-traffic sites. Instead spend your time going after high traffic, high quality sites. Good sites should have a PR (page ranking) of 4-6 depending on the market. You can find out what a site’s page ranking is by downloading the Google toolbar which comes with a PR feature built in.

16) Start an email newsletter: while it may not seem like a newsletter that you email can drive traffic to your site you’d be surprised at the effectiveness of this type of promotion. If your newsletter (like your articles) is interesting and relevant to your audience, you’ll find that it has a huge pass-through factor, meaning that it is passed from one email subscriber to another. Also, if you have an email newsletter you should never, ever go to a single event without your handy signup sheet. Yes, you can even use offline events to drive traffic to your web site.

17) And speaking of offline efforts: if you’re ever quoted in a magazine or other publication, make sure and mention your URL as it’s appropriate to the topic. Don’t be too pushy about this, but do not forget to tell folks you have a web site that may be a great resource for the topic of your interview.

18) If you have products to sell, why not get a store on eBay? This site gets a tremendous amount of traffic and on your sales page you’re allowed to list your URL. It’s another great way to get an inbound link and a way for people to find you.

19) Load a video on YouTube and 57 other video sites (the rest listed on my Red Hot Internet Publicity blog).

20) While this isn’t a tip per se, it’s still important. If you’re going to go through all the trouble of getting traffic to your site, make sure your site is converting this traffic into something. Get folks to sign up for something, your newsletter, the RSS feed on your blog. Whatever it is, getting their email address will help you remarket to them when the time is right. Studies show that visitors landing on a site often don’t buy the first time. That’s ok! You want to get them into your marketing funnel so you can market to them again and again – not in a way that’s obtrusive, offensive or downright annoying, but in a way that is helping them with their own mission.

An example of this might be an email newsletter. A helpful, informative newsletter is a fantastic funnel. A blog is another great way to keep people in your marketing loop without bombarding them with “please buy my stuff” email messages. Also, make sure you know what your traffic numbers are before you launch into any Internet marketing campaign. By traffic numbers I mean how many people are visiting your site. You want to know this so you can gauge a before and after view of your marketing efforts.

Some people are paranoid when it comes to product research. Actually, it is very easy to find a niche. Everything around you can become a niche. If you look around you, you can see things like pen, water bottle, carpet, curtain et cetera, all these things are niches! However, the only problem is whether these niches are marketable and selling, and whether a niche is highly saturated by other marketers.

You have two approaches to get into a niche. You can choose to get into a highly saturated market that has already been proven to be profitable or venture into a new niche and dominate the market.

Here are some easy steps to research on a market :
1) Think of ideas, turn everything into a possible niche. Normally, I just walk around my house and list down everything that I see and everything that I bought. Remember to write down everything in a notebook.
2) Think deeper, what are the goods that can be sold in the niche, what makes people so interested in buying the goods, is there any buying trend.
3) Now, you will need to go to Google and search for
-“niche”
-intitle:”niche”
-inurl:”niche”
4) Look through the top 20 website and see whether these websites are highly optimized for the niche to sell the product. If you can see websites like Ebay, Craigslist, Nextag et cetera, then it means that there are no serious marketers in that niche.
5) Now, you will need to see whether the niche is selling and the products are profitable. You will need to go to Ebay and search for the niche. Then you look through the auction listings to see whether the goods are being bided, and see the price of the highest bid. If the price is high and there are many people who are bidding on the goods, that means that the demand for the goods is extremely high. Congratulation! You have discovered a little-known gold mine! See, researching for a niche is really that easy!

So, after researching for the product, then you should start building a website. You will need to do keyword research, content research and start building your website. I will cover how to do easy keyword and content researches in the future. Stay tuned.

All in all, it is very easy to find a niche. It is all about creativity and how can you relate a product to the buyers. There are millions of niches in this world. However, there are only less than 1 million of serious internet marketers in this world. So, you can surely find a profitable niche. Do not try to follow other people to go into the same niche because you will never get rich by doing so. I have said two approaches that you can choose, I chose the second option, how about you?

Hi everyone, previously, I have written about how to reach $10 a day easily by learning a particular skill and use it by offering services to other people. If you are following what I am writing, then you should be able to buy a few domain names and a stable hosting. Ok, we know that we cannot work for people forever. That is why we are trying to get financial freedom by working at home. Therefore, how can we start to earn a sustainable income on our own by using the skill we have? By now, you should know some basic SEO skills as well as basic html and web designing skill.

There have been theories speculating around that if a website can earn $1 a day from Google Adsense, then if you build 100 websites, you will be able to earn $100 a day! It is theoretically correct and yes, I will tell you that it is plausible and possible. However, I wouldn’t do that because such it might be difficult to maintain 100 websites to get sustainable income. Besides, nowadays, it will be rather difficult for a newbie to get $1 a day from Adsense if you do not know how to market your website. So, my suggestion is to plan a BIG project and aim to get $10 a day from the website.

Focus :
What you should be doing here is to FOCUS on the project. Many people have always been distracted by other minor things and in the end, they cannot FOCUS on their projects. In the end, they failed their project. So, you should be focusing on what you are doing and have faith in yourself.

Make A Schedule :
After planning your project, you should have a daily, weekly and monthly schedule with your goals. Be determined with your work and make sure that you finished your work before you work on other minor things to earn extra income.

Make A Short-Term Achievable Goal and Long-Term Goal :
If you can not reach your short-term goal, then you should check whether you have done anything wrong.

Achieve The Short-Term Goal, Aim For Long Term Goal, Build A New Website and Replicate Everything :
Yes, the Internet Marketing world is all about finding a good niche, a good business model, work on it, earn money and replicate everything all over again. By doing this, if you have a $10 a day website, then you should continue to develop it to become a $100 a day website while creating a new website that will earn you an additional $10 a day.

Here is a summary of my ultimate formula for a newbie to reach the $1000 goal :
1) Research for a niche
2) Signup for affiliate programs
3) Build a website with good content
4) Update your website regularly
5) When the content is sufficient, try to email other websites in your niche to link to you
6) Remember to associate Adsense for short term income, this will keep you motivated
7) Make a sale? Means that your niche is selling. Create more good content and your income will increase.
8) Reach your target? Continue updating your website and make a new website.

In most cases, newly created blogs start off very slow and require a lot of time and hard work to keep them going. Many blog owners become quickly frustrated with how slow a blog is progressing and soon give up on the whole process of making it successful. This frustration and lack of patience explains why there are so many abandoned and ineffective web pages on the Internet today.

Many blog owners ask the question of whether or not there is a magic solution available to use that will enhance a blog’s success in a much quicker and rapid way. There really is not a magic formula that you can use, or else everyone would be using it and it would soon lose its power from overuse. There is another equation, however, that if used effectively with hard work and effort would help your blog grow faster than you ever thought you could.

This particular equation can be divided in to three main parts: blog material, proper marketing, and solid online relations. The combination of these three important aspects will help build your blog to quickly become popular and profitable.

Blog Material
The most important part about a blog is the type of material that is published on it for Internet visitors to see and use. This material should be carefully designed and placed on the blog so that it is attractive to people who are seeking for information. The material needs to also be produced at the highest quality possible, in order to look professional and provide crucial knowledge about the blog’s main category or topic.

Another part of the material has to do with the type of text that is placed on the blog. Every article that is published needs to contain information that is both relevant to the blog’s theme and exciting for any visitor to read. The articles are the main part of the blog and are what will help build your blog’s popularity in a fast and effective way. Remember to always write high quality articles that will attract a large portion of people that use the Internet on a frequent basis.

Proper Marketing
In order to quickly build up your blog’s reputation, you need to perform a lot of effective marketing. This can be accomplished through the principle of networking, which means that you basically spread the information about your blog to as many people as you possibly can. There are many ways that you can tell people about your blog, some of which include email, face to face contact, and the publication of links.

Solid Online Relations
The final way to help your blog grow faster than you ever thought possible would be to establish online relationships with other bloggers and web site owners. Creating solid relationships with these people will have a direct, positive effect on your blog. They will refer their traffic flow to your blog and make comments about it that are positive and profitable for you.

When using WordPress Blogs, you need to use the proper elements. Headings are always at the top. Paragraphs need to have the right structure. Make sure your lists are actual List and not some gibberish. The theme should be constructed properly, if you use Images make sure there is text to back it up. Keep your content up to date and good, great of course would be better. Let you creativity flow. Use the permalink structure.
When setting up each of these you need to keep the following content and styles in the forefront of your mind. For Page titles, it should mean and say exactly what the content on the page is. Alt tags are where you put text to match your images. Tags are how each link goes to a specific part on each web page. Landing sites, is when your visitors actually make it to your site, what do you want them to see. If you think they may have a hard time finding the right stuff or if they are not directly pointed to the right spot think of adding a blog there.

Use Google sitemaps, this helps to make sure you’re the content is accurate and makes sure it is right. Pinging aggregators make sure that any time a new blog is posted relating to your site it is directed to you. Keep Valid markup in mind, this makes sure that the keywords and your site are valid and accurate in content. Use BackLinks you and your friends can help each other and other
bloggers by back linking to each other. Use the titles as the primary keywords. Be sure to include links in your forums and emails.

Keep the content up to date, dead content means a dead site. Do not give up no matter how frustrated you get, and that each new blog represents the title. Get the reader involved, no one likes being talk at but being talked to gives the whole experience a feeling of a conversation.

Use correct post titles and make sure they are clear and to the point, either that or extremely catchy.

Following each of these and keeping your goals in mind will help insure your sites success.

I know that many people have always been wondering on how can they earn $1000 in the Internet. Most of them have purchased the “Guru” courses or ebooks, claiming that will provide you with knowledge that will enable you to earn your first $1000 in the Internet. However, in the end, many people realized that they are just learning and learning the same thing, and gradually, their brains are saturated with information. When they want to take actions, they will say, “Wait, hmm… I shouldn’t be doing this because Guru XXX said this and Guru YY said that… blah blah blah blah…” Therefore, after one month, two months, three months, they still earn nothing, or maybe a few dimes from the Internet.

I started off with zero dollar. I did not purchase anything, no ebooks, and no turnkey scripts. However, I managed to reach $10 a day in my first week. If you take a look at forums like Digitalpoint, you will be able to see threads like “Help! May I know how to earn $10 a day”. I wonder why people are asking these questions because $10 a day, is very simple and achievable for a newbie.

Firstly, if you are a newbie and you have no modal to invest at all, then I suggest you to learn a skill, any skill. You can learn graphic design, web design, SEO et cetera, just choose one and learn. Do not bother to learn EVERYTHING in one time, because you will be saturated with information. Remember, if you are a newbie and you do not wish to invest any money at all, your only capital is your time. You are going to use your time to get the knowledge that will be able to earn you $10 a day. If you learn graphic design, then you can sell graphics, if you learn web design, then you can build some MFA (made for Adsense) websites and sell them. Believe me, if you learn a skill and you are willing to use that skill to develop something, you can surely made at least $10 a day.

Besides, I will recommend you to learn English if English is not your first language. This is because if you know how to write proper sentences, you can easily earn $10 a day at Digitalpoint forum by writing articles and posting in forums. Some people are offering jobs like forum posting for $0.10 a post. Even though the pay is very low, however, if you have no money at the beginning, imagine, for 60-70posts, you will be able to get your own domain. Getting your own domain… hmm… sounds pretty good for a beginner, right?

In conclusion, it is really very easy to earn $10 a day, given that you are willing to learn and take action. If you are willing to use your knowledge and convert it into actions, you are already ahead of most of the other people who want to earn money in the Internet. I will cover how to reach $30 a day in the next part of the article.

As of December 2007, more than 106 million blogs have been tracked which makes one wonder just what blogging is.Blogging is that wonderful world where you can write your personal thoughts about what you think on any subject imaginable, whether good or bad, with or without anonymity, although in reality anonymity really doesn’t exist when it come to the Internet. Your website, your email has an ISP address which is easily traceable to any given computer.

In general, blogs are articles you write and post on the web for the entire world to see. Your blog puts you, your thoughts in the forefront, which lets others see your brilliance or idiocy. You can have your own website dedicated to your thoughts, or you can respond to a particular article that has been written which allows you to voice your opinion about the subject or article, although use tact when responding. Most news media allowing you respond to a written article requires you to provide a valid email address in order for you to make a comment.

Most subscribers to the Internet post there blogs on personal web pages or websites their ISP provides. Other bloggers post their comments on the multitude of websites available for posting their thoughts, usually indexed by subject. To find a blog site, simply type “blog/s” in any search engine and behold you will find thousands of blog sites you can read or post.

Methods for blogging vary which you should consider before doing any posting. Blogging in response to a particular article, as well as posting on dedicated blog sites are permanent blogs, in that they can not be changed once posted. With that in mind, you really need to think about what you want to say before posting your thoughts. It’s somewhat like making a comment, once spoken it can’t be undone.

The other side of posting on an open blog site is the libel issue. At present, blog sites are not libel for what you say, so use caution when blogging.

The other method of blogging is to have your own website or page where you write your own blog. Using this method, you can edit your blog, write about another subject or simply delete the blog entirely. This method in my opinion is perhaps the safest method of blogging, but there is a caveat to this method. When you write something on your computer using a word processor and save the document, even if you delete the article, or document, it still resides on your computer and unless you completely reformat or destroy the hard drive, it remains on you computer forever. If someone wants to prove you wrote the article, with the proper software they can retrieve it.

You may wonder if blogging is without peril. That depends. If you are blogging about your Aunt Tilly’s super fruit cake recipe, you’re safe, but if you’re blogging about a politician, an organization, the government, religious leaders, a company, an individual, you need to be careful about what you have to say, as you just might be libel. Presently, in the US, the courts are undecided about blogging, weighing in on the free speech side of the argument, however; individuals have been imprisoned and/or fined for their blogs.

To be safe when blogging, it’s important to use the correct adjectives, or follow the method the news media use when writing an article. Words like; alleged, subject to, suspected of, and the like may keep you out of trouble. Although, innuendos you make can been seen as an attack, an accusation, by some very sensitive people and they just might decide to take action against you.

Even when using safe words, that doesn’t mean you’re not going to suffer the consequences for your big mouth. Many states have what is known as; “The Right To Work Law,” which simply means employers can fire an employee for any reason, or for no reason. Individuals have been fired from their jobs for posting blogs about their company.

Many blogs are instructional in nature from how to grow a tree, wash a cat to building an explosive device. Here again you need to be careful. Those blogs about explosive devices just might cause a visit from a federal agency. Unfortunate as it is, when it comes to blogging, “Big Brother Is Watching!”

5 Adsense Blog Tips

posted by: Steve
Category: Google Adsense
Comments: 2

As you know Adsense ads are best way to monetize your website or blogs. But a webmaster or blogger must be more careful for placing ad codes on your site for getting more conversion and clicks.

1. Set the color of the Ads. The color of the Adsense ads can be set by the publisher according to your site. color of the ad heading, contents and link can be set. Do it according to your site color so that the reader must not see a separate entity with the ads and the contents of your site.

2. No. of Ad Blocks, Links and referrals. Are you aware that you can insert three ad blocks, three Link units and 2 referral links of each referrals (Adsense, Adwords, Google Pack and Firfox) in each page of your site. Place maximum Ads on your site to get more clicks and sign ups) If you place more than the above no of ads, That ads will not see in you site. So place only 3 ad blocks and 3 link blocks.

3. Never Click on you ads yourself and from your computer. That is in Google’s Terms and conditions also that you never click your ads. If you are much interest on one ads, you can type the url on you browser address bar and can visit the site. If you click your ads google will find out it and will cancel your approval and the chance of getting a wonderful income will be end.

4. Do not get traffic from traffic exchanges. You get normal traffic and traffic from advertisements to get more traffic to your site. You won’t get money from the clicks you get from auto surf etc. and most of the traffic exchanges will place your urls for auto surf and you will be a looser. So do not give your site to traffic exchanges.

5. Set channels in your Adsene account. This is much helpful to see how your sites and pages function with your ads and how many visitors you are getting time to time and the number of clicks and income. Just sign in your adsense account and go to adsense setup tag and
channels to set your url channels and custom channels.

5. Visit you adsense account daily or in regular intervals. This will help you to evaluate your ads and sites and can make necessary changes accordingly.

What I have been writing so far is on how to create a conventional blog. You write anything that you like in your blog and monetize it using pay per click advertisement such as Adsense, or selling affiliate products related to your topics. However, a blog can actually be used for many other purposes. I will roughly explain some ideas that I think you might be interested in.

1) BANS – Build A Niche tore
Firstly, a blog can be used as a BANS. If you are not familiar with the term BANS, it is basically mini site selling products from eBay or Amazon. The site is automated because it can take the feed directly from eBay or Amazon. You can easily create a BANS using a wordpress blog and some plug-ins. BANS is very easy to earn some good money given that you know how to SEO your BANS and you are able to find a good niche. If you are promoting eBay goods, you will be able to earn $25 for every new eBay member (they are required to bid at least once within 7 days of registration) and commission from the transaction fee. However, I suggest that you can sell some high value products so that you can earn more commission.

2) Affiliated Product Landing Page
Some people use a blog as a landing page for product. They can either post some reviews of the product with a cloaked link to the sales pages or write some good posts to attract more people to opt-in to the newsletter or subscribe to the RSS feed. Blog is a very good landing page because it gives the visitors an appearance that it is created by a “neutral” and real person. Therefore, this can increase the thrust of the visitors and the credibility of your product. Besides, Google loves fresh content. Blog means a platform for regularly updated content. Therefore, you can easily get high rank for some low competitive keywords, given that you update your blog regularly.

3) A Blog Merely To Get High PR And Sell Links And Blog Post
LOL, the name is pretty long. Basically, this is a kind of blog that people created just to achieve a high PR and then sell some sponsored links and blog post linking to other people’s website. You can see this method being widely used at Digitalpoint Forum. I’m not really into this because I find that the return of investment is very low as it is very time consuming. Therefore, I does not research deeply into this area too.

In conclusion, you can actually find more ways to earn money using your blogs. Just keep in mind that it is pretty vital to get some good targeted traffic before you can see a sale. Therefore, I recommend everyone to at least learn some SEO techniques such as keyword research, how to write proper title tag before really get into the world of blogging.
