Well I’m  sure you guys are aware that Entrecard was recently put up for sale, well, apparently it’s not for sale anymore. At least not right now.

When I first read that Entrecard was for sale on Jason’s TUK blog. I  didn’t  think its worth $100,000 starting bid especially the fact that the site makes only $2,000/month which is not that great for an entire network. 

Also, the Entrecard reputation hasn’t been that good especially the fact that a lot of big name bloggers bashed the site for various reasons.

Take a look at the Sitepoint auction , originally it had a whole detailed report on why it was listed, the stats, etc. But now all that information was taken off, the auction was canceled and if you scroll down to comment #24, the seller said “site not for sale anymore.”

 I don’t know what the reason was but if I had to take a guess, it would be one of two conclusions: The owner was getting too much crap because of the worth (or lack of) of the site and decided not to sell it until he figured certain things out or he is back into negotiations with a Venture Capitalist on expanding that into a full company with employees.

Well the site is not for sale anymore  and I bet you’ll see it on auction in the next six months again!
