You can buy a domain name from www.godaddy.com and after you enter all your info at the last page godaddy has a spot for you to enter a savings code. You don’t have any savings codes don’t worry just type in google (Godaddy promo savings code) and Bam! you have lots of savings codes check it out. (gdbb776) $7.70 for renewing domain names at godaddy. (OYH1) 10% off anything. Happy savings!

I’ve heard it said, and even seen it written, that blogging is better than SEO for getting traffic. Are blogging traffic or SEO traffic generation techniques better for you, or does it not really matter?

Actually, a lot depends on you and which you like best: blogs or traditional websites, and also what you want the traffic for. I also wonder why the distinction is being made, since anybody serious about internet marketing and getting plenty of traffic, will use both. There is really no need to choose one or the other. However, when I hear such arguments I get the feeling that it is more academic than which provides the more traffic. Feelings, however can be wrong, so it is worth discussion.

When you think about it, the type of traffic you get from a blog could very well have different needs and interests to those that reached your site after carrying a search on Google or Yahoo using specific keywords. OK, you can get to blogs from search engines also, and through the use of keywords, but if you are looking to buy something you wouldn’t normally log onto a blog, would you?

Let’s say you wanted the best price for a gross of Titleist golf balls, you wouldn’t visit a blog site. Similarly if wanted to discuss their benefits, you would go to a blog or a forum. Sometimes it gets difficult to tell the difference these days, since blogs are becoming increasingly more interactive, but you get my general drift. I hope!

With a blog you can advertise whatever you want to, and the same is true of a website. However, you are more likely to make a direct purchase from a website, and to seek information from a blog. Hence, the traffic you get on a blog are information seekers and those on your website may also be looking for info, but might also be wanting to make a purchase. So right away we can kind of separate blog readers from website visitors.

It’s not a well defined separation, but bloggers tend not to be looking for something different to what a search engine user is looking for. If you have a blog on your website, your blog page will be likely to attract prospects that will tend to be more regular visitors than those that are checking out your website. If the latter don’t respond to your opt-in form, you will be unlikely to see them again, but a visitor to your blog page might return frequently.

However, to return to the question: what is better, blog traffic or SEO traffic, as long as each is free it doesn’t really matter I would have thought. I suppose that it could be argued that the SEO traffic is more focussed because they have used your specific keywords to get to the page they landed on ,and blog traffic could come from ezines and other sources that are perhaps not specific to any product you are selling. Me, I would accept any traffic no matter where it came from, and quite frankly once the traffic gets to your webpage it is up to you to convert it to sales.

The difference between the two is that if you don’t make an immediate impact with the SEO visitors, you could be struggling to keep them returning to your website, but you are likely to have more time with the bloggers, since they tend to keep coming back to the blog. The SEO visitors might register with your opt-in page, but that only allows you to keep in contact with them, and you still have to try to induce them to return to your website.

On the other hand, the blog readers need no such inducement, since they visit your site each time you publish a new posting. That is assuming that your blog is on your own website, and not on the blog server as many (perhaps most) are.

Perhaps I am completely on the wrong track, but I will keep tabs on it and report on my website what my findings are regarding blog traffic and SEO traffic, and whether or not one tends to buy more that the other. It is useful to know, since for a website that is designed to sell products it can determine whether or not it is worth having a blog on your site or keep trying to improve your SEO.

That is a big decision to make, and if it could make the difference between success and failure then it should be determines mathematically and scientifically rather than by conjecture and opinion. It is scientific testing that frequently makes the difference between those that are successful in internet marketing and those that fail.

So, is blogging traffic or SEO traffic generation the best? Who knows? I hope to know shortly though, and I will share it with you on my site when I finish my testing.

If you want to find out more about traffic generation, or event the result of Pete’s testing, then visit Improved Search Engine Rank where you will discover a way to generate free traffic using SEO that even blogs cannot compete with.

Putting up a company would of course require a lot of things, to get straight to the point, you need a capital. To make money requires money as well. But of course, with the versatility the internet offers, there are many ways you could find that could help optimize the potential of your site or business in generating traffic.

While there are ways to jumpstart your traffic flows, many sites don’t have the resources that others have to generate more traffic for your site. Well, you don’t have to spend a cent; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.

How sweet it is to have more traffic for your blog without spending a single cent.  Now it’s a sure thing that many sites have articles that offer tips and guidelines in how to generate traffic using only free methods. Because it is possible, you don’t need to speed a single cent, it may take time, to say honestly, I’m not going to beat around the bush with you. You get better chances by paying for your advertisements, but at least you get a fighting chance with some of these free methods I’m about to tell you.

Take advantage of online forums and online communities. The great thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you are looking for. You can discuss about lots of things about the niche that you represent or offer.  Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you will be prepared.

With online communities and forums you can build a reputation for your company. Show them what you are made of and wow them with your range of expertise about the subject, with that you can build a reputation and build trust with the people in your expertise and knowledge.

You can also make use of newsletters. Provide people with a catalog of your products and interesting and entertaining articles. If you make it really interesting and entertaining, more people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people. The more people who signs up for your newsletter, the more people there will be that will go to your site increasing your traffic.

Another great idea is trading links with other sites. You don’t have to spend a cent. All you have to do is reach an agreement with another webmaster. With exchanging links, the efforts both sites do will benefit both sites. Every traffic that goes to the site could potentially click on the link of your site and visit your site as well. This works well especially when both sites feature the same niche.

Write articles that could pique the attention of people that have interest in your product. Try writing articles that will provide tips and guides to other aficionados. Writing articles that provide good service and knowledge to other people would provide the necessary mileage your traffic flow needs.

Many sites offer free submission and posting of your articles. When people find interest in your articles they have a good chance of following the track by finding out where the article originated. Include a link or a brief description of your company with the article and there’s a great probability that they will go to your site.

Write good content for your site. Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. It is not a requirement that a content should be done by a professional content writer. You could do your on but you have to make content for your site that is entertaining as well as informational. It should provide certain requirements as well as great quality.
Generally, internet users use search engines to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keyword searching in aiding their search results. With the right keywords, you could get high rankings in search engine results without the costs.

All of these methods and more will drive more traffic to your site for free. All it takes is a bit of effort and extended man hours. Learn all you can about the methods depicted here and you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that come with it.

Blogs; what good are they anyway? Well, actually blogs are both fantastic whether you are running a business website or you are simply using blogs for fun. In terms of business, blogs can prove to be a supplemental form of advertisement and you will find them to be a unique device that you can use to keep in contact with your clients. Further, in terms of personal use, blogs are definitely an excellent way to stay in touch with your family and friends, even if they are across the globe. Best of all, blogs can often be established for free and can easily stand on their own, without an existing website to support them.

Blogs have become quite popular and more and more blogs are appearing all over the Internet. In fact, the more people realize the great benefits that they can get from using blogs, the more people will be using them. Blogs, not only serve as personal journals, they also serve as business supplements and people love communicating with others by using blogs and allowing others to comment on their postings.

Blogs are regularly updated which means that they have fresh content on them all the time. This makes them appealing to visitors and search engines alike. Every new posting means new content on your blog and if you update your blogs daily or weekly you will see them grow rather quickly. With fresh content, you can improve your search engine ranking. Whether you use the blog alone, or you used it to accompany an already existing website, your fresh content can be used to draw more and more traffic to either your blog or your website, or both.

Additionally, you can add links to your blogs and start a link exchange campaign. In doing so, you will see your page ranking increase in search engines because SE algorithms frequently focus on the number of links that are pointing to your website. The more external links that recommend your site or blogs, the easier your site or blogs are to find in the big search engines like Google.

Blogs can be used to freely advertise your products or services. Thats right, blogs can serve as free web space for you to use to advertisement of your business. Also, blogs are great from providing existing clients with updated information about new products and services you may be offering. Want your clients to share there feelings about your products and services? You can use blogs to receive and share client testimonials. There really is no end to the benefits one can derive from using blogs.

What is equally fantastic about blogs is that there are ways that you can create blogs for free. Sites like Blogger, recently purchased by Google, allow you to establish a blog free of charge. Moreover, there are a variety of layouts, fonts, and templates to choose from and Blogger even allows you to post images. Finally, sites like Blogger give you the opportunity to archive your postings so that visits can return to them again and again.

Finally, creating blogs can be simple fun for everyone. No matter what ones age is, Blogging is the new wave in Internet entertainment. Friends can create clubs and use blogs to establish them, friends and family can share photographs and sentiments, and finally, personal expression can be satisfied when creating blogs. In fact, if you have a particular passion, why not share that passion with the world by starting one or more blogs? Communicate with people from all over the world that share the same passions that you do!

Using the Internet journal (blogging) allows the online marketer to talk directly to his/her audience.

Unfortunately, many marketers are not using the most powerful feature of the blog.

Authority.

What am I talking about? When someone writes a book, immediately they become an expert on their subject. The writer of the Magazine article, the Newsletter author, for some reason are revered in our society. Heck, even the Journalist is raised on high.

Why is Maureen Dowd or Walter Cronkite so revered? Why does their opinion matter? We will even listen to actors who wax political. Why?

Well instead of worrying about the why? Can we agree on the affect?

And, if we can agree on the affect, then we ought to be making our opinion known.Yet, as I started this article, most marketers are blowing their opportunity.

My guess is that many of the marketers that jumped on the blogging bandwagon see it as an opportunity to manipulate a search engine.

The search engines are great. It is what our company does. We get client’s leads thru targeted search engine traffic.

I believe that most of the blogs out there in the space, are merely copy and paste renditions of newzie information.

That’s OK, but what if you offered your opinion on what that means to your area locally? Your opinion gives you personality, it makes you a real person. It makes you an expert.

The biggest objection is usually the time. I can tell you that I create tons of content, and I have many readers of my content thru rss readers, visitors, and syndication. I believe it is because I offer a very unique take on search engines, lead generation, and websites.

The Same Thing Said 6 Ways

We all have about 5 or 6 or 7 ways that we make a presentation? And the reason I think we do that is we get bored saying the same thing all the time. We also change our presentation to fit our audience.

And, if you are good salesman you are always looking for better analogies, and better ways to make your point more compelling.

That is how I get my content. I will take notes from my own presentations. If I say something brilliant, I immediately write it down. I have a notebook of topics and content ideas.

Another great source is news with your commentary. This article was inspired by a piece on blogging in Revenue magazine. I was reading it over my morning coffee and jotted this down into my blog software.

I urge you to add your personality to your blogs. One technique that will force you into this style is to start using words like you, your, yours, etc instead of acting like an impartial journalist. You are not impartial, you are a salesperson.

If you have any success at all in your business, then you have a unique perspective. Your public hires you for your expertise and opinions. Not your ability to regurgitate news.

Develop a tempting title:

Incase you want to build an online public relation, ebooks, ezines or online articles can be a great way to achieve it. By showcasing your expertise in the articles you can easily raise your repute and status. Just imagine getting an author\’s box at the end of the article containing a bio, as well as email and website contact information. Don’t you think that back link can be very useful for the traffic of your own website as readers may click-through on your URL to learn more about you or your company? More links improve your search engine rankings. We are sure that writing online has many benefits and it can actually go on and on.

In case you get tempted to write an online articles here are seven great tips you can easily follow while doing it.

1. Develop a tempting title:

80% of people will take it or leave it just after reading your title of article. Better you develop a tempting title, which really interest them to read more about the content, as your title will decide the fate of your article, even if you’ve written a best article in the world, if the title doesn’t appeal them they are never going to read your article at the first place.

2. Make the article informative and useful, and without hype or jargon:

As they say there is a relation of “trust” between author and reader. Don’t let go this bright chance to establish a relation with those who are actually going to read your article. Don’t throw tantrum thinking most readers are of average sense.

3. Keep it focused on a relatively narrow topic:

This is the key you should keep focused on a relatively narrow subject span. That will give you more opportunity to express your self with the command of an expert. Also your reader will not get lost in a broad subject.

4. Keep the length under 1,250 words:

Count this a standard length for an average article; here you are also not going overboard with longer articles and also not depriving your readers with shorter and less informative one.

5. Proofread to ensure there are no typos, punctuation or grammar errors:

You should be very careful about any kind of mistakes as it can put your readers off. Better check it N number of time before you get the full confidence of having a clean and perfect copy without any grammatical mistakes.

 6. Ending it:

You should end your article with an author\’s box of less than six lines, complete with short bio, email address, web URL and telephone number. That will help you in many ways including getting your money or back links.

7. Last but not the least:

You should not forget to develop a list of article archives and ezines that publish features on your area of expertise. The more places you can post  your article the better result you will observe in near future as a new writer on the block.

The popularity and ranking of your blog is directly correlated to the number of sites linking to it. In-bound links to your blog tell the search engines what they will find when visiting your site. This article discusses ten Web 2.0 social power linking tactics that will help you significantly increase traffic to your MLM blog.

Web 2 marketing tactics can easily create serious MLM blog traffic. This could be anything from a few hundred visitors to several thousand visitors. You must update your blog content consistently to generate repeat visitors.

Use social bookmarking sites by setting up bookmarks and submitting stories and articles. Do not spam.

The real impact of social power linking comes when you build a bigger asset base by having our content show up in far more places than just our sites alone.

Here are ten cutting edge tactics to profit with social power linking to increase MLM blog traffic.

1. Submit articles and posts to StumbleUpon.com Install a toolbar button when you sign up and you can “Like” or “Dislike” any site or page you want. You can mark up your pages, and also vote for other sites in your niche for research purposes.

2. Submit articles and posts to Digg. Digg is easy to use, and if your blog is on Wordpress, you can add a plug in so your readers can actually submit your articles to Digg.

3. PlugIM.com This Digg-style site will also help you get traffic. It takes less than a minute to submit your articles here.

4. IM News If you have marketing related content, make sure to submit to IM news often.

5. Develop lenses and other remote “satellite” pages with good, original keyword optimized content One key to social power linking lies in Squidoo lenses.

6. Make it easy for outside parties and social media sites to link to your content. Link baiting, track backs and always consistently posting useful and original content will draw readers. If you have a Wordpress Blog, use the Tagalize It plug in to create Technorati and IceRocket links.

7. Make bookmarking or social tagging easy. Put a “delicious this” text link at the bottom of a post, and a Digg button at the top of the article.

8.Start participating in social power linking right away. Start blogging on your own. Visit leading forums and join the discussion.

9. Users to your site that contribute noticeably to the site’s content and audience should be recognized and rewarded. You will keep these valuable community members on your site, and you gain visible advocates of your site to outside members.

10. Reward inbound site links. The more inbound links your blog and site generate, the better. Create a permalink to use and cite them on your blog This simple act of acknowledgment will generate much good will and links.

Social power linking is a relatively new and yet powerful way to quickly generate inbound links and traffic to your MLM blog. Follow these essential tactics and you will see a gig increase in traffic leading to more enrollments in your business.

Blogging For Easy Money

posted by: Steve
Category: Uncategorized

By Gilbert. I am going to go over the two most common business models that entrepreneurs use to make money with a blog. The most common way to use a blog as a profit making machine is to sell advertising to many different companies who would like to have their specific product or service reach that blog’s readers. The other way to use a blog for profit is to help a specific brand improve its image by creating positive associations between the blog and the product in the mind of consumers. Both blogging methods can make tons and tons of money, especially if the blogger has a good sense of marketing know how.

If you are going to blog with the intent of selling advertising space, here are two basic ideas that you can use for recruiting sponsors who want to put ads on your site. You can outsource all of the legwork, or you can do it all yourself so that you get to keep all of the revenue. With the first idea, lots of people make money with their blog by selling space through Google’s AdSense program. The are numerous advantages available when using this program . It doesn’t require very much effort on the part of the blogger or webmaster to begin profiting. However, most people discover that they don’t make as much money through this method that they had hoped their blog would earn. By selling advertising directly to companies who want to put banner ads or sponsored links on your blog takes quite a bit more time and effort than AdSense, but it is often more lucrative.

If you have contacts in the industries related to the topic of your blog, it may be a good idea to try to go this route. While people who have strong sales backgrounds and are experienced in pitching proposals have the ability to make quite a bit of money through renting blog space to interested companies, the most serious problem with this model is that you often need a sizable readership before you can attract advertisers, which can mean that you have to do several months of work before you start to make money blogging. As blogging becomes a more and more lucrative business, a lot of established companies are considering how they can get into the action. One way that companies are capitalizing on the blog movement is by having blogs that provide a kind of friendly face for their corporation. Often, a company will employ an established blogger to create a weblog designed specifically to appeal to that company’s customers and to create positive associations with the brand in consumers’ minds.

More than one writer who never even dreamed that he or she could make money blogging has been approached by a company and was offered quite a pretty penny for this kind of gig. If you run a small company, you may find that the world of blogging for business owners is a world that you want to be a part of. Blogging is a great way to get the word out to consumers about your product or service, and it can even be useful for inspiring employee loyalty and helping you keep your workers at peak morale. If you are looking for a way to take your business to the next level, consider what starting a blog might be able to do for you. Blogging for business owners has a lot in common with all other types of blogging, but it has its own unique pitfalls and strengths. The key to having a successful blog as a business owner is keeping your goals clear and concrete at every step of your blogging adventure. It can be all to easy to get sidetracked, especially if you are just learning about the exciting possibilities of blogging technology, but if you want your blog to succeed you need to stay focused.

Write up a plan for how often you will update, how you will promote your blog and retain readers, whether you will feature photographs or video, and other aspects of your blog, and then stick to it with the same kind of determination that you used when you built your company.
